The International School, Lyon
The 'Cité Scolaire Internationale' in Lyon offers bilingual education from primary school to university entrance. Three schools (Ecole Primaire, Collège and Lycée) are housed in the long winding school building on the banks of the Rhône. In the loop at the head of the building, various special areas are grouped together either side of a school 'street' under a suspended 'green' roof: noisier areas such as sports halls and canteen facilities flank one side of the street, on the other side is the quieter administration block with library.
