Great Holm Development for the Disabled, Milton Keynes, GB
The three elements of this project are housing, work facilities and a meeting place. The »Moot Hall« is a neigbourhood facility that aims at making connections between the handicapped residents and the community. There is a bakery with baker's rest room and stores, bakery shop and coffee servery; gardener's stores and weaving studio with display areas. The residential area is further down the street. The weaving studio is flooded with natural light through its long rooflight.
