Créche in Milan
The site for the daycare centre with a pediatric centre is located in a densely built-up neighbourhood and is bordered on three sides by buildings of varying heights. The fourth side borders the busy Via Iduno. The design represents an interpretation of the didactic theory that children, while well cared for, should also experience contact with situations and objects of public life. With this in mind, the public passageways, benches, clock, old cast-iron fountain, and a telephone booth were incorporated into the design.
