Laboratory and Metabolic Building in Grub near Munich

The State Institute for Animal Breeding originated from the neighboring Grub State Estate. The first buildings were erected in 1923 as an independent farm complex on the east side of the road from Parsdorf to Landsham, opposite the estate's main buildings. With raised ground floors, greater ceiling heights, and steeply pitched stepped gable and hipped roofs, the three original buildings, in keeping with the estate's manor house, represent the centre of the agriculturally influenced gabled buildings.
