Glass-enclosed Stairwell of an Administrative Building in Munich
The site lies along the edge of the former Isar riverbank, at the intersection of several green spaces and parks. This fact, along with the already abundant vegetation on the property, suggested making the connection of these green spaces a key urban design criterion through a strong emphasis on the outdoor facilities and landscaping. For this reason, and also because the spatial situation between the existing buildings is very confined, the structure of the new building was designed to be as understated as possible.
