Neudorf Residential and Commercial Building in Cham / CH
The design of the Neudorf residential and commercial building dates back to the competition entry from 1975. A subsequent significant land purchase enabled the mirrored arrangement of a second office wing. The diagonal passage, only hinted at in the competition entry, could now be consistently extended westward from the east entrance, following the former footpath. This created an intersection with the north-south oriented main axis in the centre. This axis was covered with a glass roof and terminated at its ends with glass facades.
