Single-Family House in Hamburg

The two-storey timber-frame house was built above a solid basement – partly reinforced concrete, partly calcium silicate masonry. The exterior walls are constructed as double-shell, ventilated timber structures with mineral wool insulation. The outer cladding is stained in a coloured finish, while the inner cladding consists of gypsum plasterboard on chipboard or wood paneling. The interior walls are lightweight, double-shell partition walls.
