The stable-style building, often found in southern Austria, with its brick columns and timber infill, was adopted as the construction method for this house in Gasseisdorf, near the Yugoslavian border. For organizational and financial reasons (loans and depreciation), the house was divided into three clearly defined sections: to the west, the covered entrance steps and the doctor's treatment room; in the middle, the living quarters; and to the east, the guest wing. The house opens up considerably to the south, offering a view.
