Extension Building for the Administration of an Energy Company in Cologne-Marienburg
An extension for approximately 30 employees was built in the park surrounding the administration building of an energy company. The most important task was to avoid endangering any of the valuable trees and to find a building design that would not detract from the park's character. The cruciform floor plan with a central access zone made it possible to keep the building footprint small and to construct a pavilion with four "faces"—a freestanding structure without a particular orientation.
