Entrance to the Administration Building of the European Educational Community in Kornwestheim
The design for the administration building of the European Educational Community was selected through a restricted competition. In contrast to other architects who favored network-like and modular structures, we created simple, space-defining forms from double-loaded building volumes: an isosceles angle is connected to a longitudinal building via a hinge. The slender building volumes create functionally appropriate open spaces within a garden and park landscape, into which access and parking are integrated.
