The headquarters building for kitchen manufacturer Triangle Pacific Corporation was intended to be distinctive yet unpretentious, and it had to be built on a relatively small plot of land between two streets. Its form results from the arrangement of the building's program: the cafeteria for employees, computer rooms, storage, and technical rooms are located on the ground floor, forming a base for the building. The main entrance is on the first floor. It is reached via a grand external staircase that runs alongside a reflecting pool and is emphasized by a two-storey vestibule.
