House in Munich
The house is located on a quiet street in a Munich villa district. The existing neighboring buildings offered no inspiration for the design; however, the practical issue of the two required side setbacks (5 m for two stories, 9 m for three stories) was a factor that influenced the design. Furthermore, the three-aisled building type of a residential building, which was under construction when planning began, has been modified in this design (see Detail 84/1). The house is accessed via an open loggia.
