School in Villnöss
Once funding for the elementary school was secured in 1976, the development plan from the late 1960s was revised in cooperation with the municipal administration. We concluded that, given its size and importance, the school, along with other public facilities, should become a focal point for the valley, and that an expansion of the existing shops and other service businesses should be integrated into the overall concept. Furthermore, these construction measures were intended to restore the Schleierbühel hill, which had been leveled by gravel extraction and lies in front of the village, to its original form, and to redesign the open spaces, which had been disrupted by the construction of the access road, to be more inviting.
