House in Jetzendorf

The property is located in a new development on the edge of the village. The building's size and roof shape – a hipped roof – were subject to the regulations of the development plan. The client, with a clear vision of architectural quality and a keen eye for detail and materials, desired a simple and modest house for his family with two children, yet one that was individual in expression and offered a sense of spaciousness despite its low cost. A timber frame structure was erected over a 4 x 4 metre grid. This defines the large interior space, which extends all the way to the hipped roof, thus giving the house the desired feeling of spaciousness.
