Design concept: Interpenetration and interlocking of the basic geometric forms, cube and light body. The cubic cube and the elongated light body are offset by 10° from the horizontal building line. The cube is tilted 10° to the south; the light body is tilted 10° to the east. Horizontal intersection of the floor and ceiling horizontals with the basic forms. The cube serves as a sales area, a space for sales conversations, and a place to linger. The light body displays and illuminates the merchandise. The cut-out increases the presentation area. The cube reflects its counterpart: the cubic architecture of the post-war period. The light body references the delicate structures in its surroundings; its illumination mirrors the colour-field signals of the opposite structure.
