The plaza, located within a company complex, is not a place for lingering; it is an open space between three office buildings and is experienced much more from above as a whole than gradually through use. The layout of the surrounding office buildings creates no natural centre, nor any point that would have invited accentuation by a sculptural element. Therefore, a large circle was chosen for the design, which, without relief, creates a sense of depth solely through the interplay of materials and their colours. Its structure echoes the building materials of the adjacent buildings: travertine, clinker brick, and cast iron instead of metal.
