St. Ignatius Church in Munich - Neuhadern
The church and community centre are located in a densely populated residential area; the apartment buildings reach heights of up to 22 metres. The centre was deliberately designed to contrast with this solid surroundings: A ring of community hall, kindergarten, youth and senior citizen rooms, two apartments, and the church office surrounds the twelve-sided church space. With the exception of the residential section to the south, the buildings are all single-storey.
