The hotel is part of a Wilhelminian-era estate and is situated in a virtually untouched landscape, surrounded by a park and numerous colorful trees whose picturesque arrangement defines the scenic atmosphere. The estate's 19th-century horse stable, with its adjoining carriage house, was converted into a hotel. The original building, with its arcaded courtyard, was preserved as a historical shell; extensions were added on the valley side to house the conference rooms, swimming pool, and commercial kitchen.
