Residential Building in Koblach/A
Despite the different visual impact of the Höchst housing estate and the single-family home in Koblach—the former a narrow, linear row of houses with steep gable roofs, the latter a building with a square floor plan and a shallow pyramidal roof—these structures were essentially built according to the same basic principles of simple and inexpensive construction. In Koblach, too, a timber-frame building was erected, in a construction period of only three months.
