Mierendorff School Centre, Berlin-Charlottenburg
The entire three-storey (later four-storey) complex of the four-stream primary school closes off the street space from the five-storey residential buildings opposite with staggered outdoor areas. The building was designed with a north-south axis and steps down from the northern area to the green spaces in the south; it integrates the public green space into the design of the outdoor areas.
