Town Hall in Nykøbing/Denmark
The administrative building of the municipality of Mors in Nykøbing is the result of a public design competition, won by the architectural firm Friis and Moltke. The new building is located on the edge of Nykøbing's town centre, separated from it by a busy road. A key objective was to strengthen the connection between the town centre and the administrative building. This is achieved by having the large entrance hall also define the boundary of a market square at the end of the road.
