On a gap left by the war in a prominent location on Oskar-von-Miller-Ring, the office building for the Bayerische Raiffeisen-Zentralbank München was erected. The design takes into account the mass of the power plant on Theresienstraße, which intrudes upon the northern side of the square, through careful sculptural shaping of the outline and roof form. Viewed from Von-der-Tann-Straße, the top floor is set back sufficiently so that the ridge of the church roof, together with the tower of St. Mark's Church, continues to define the building's height.
