Single-family Home Group in Stuttgart
The group of houses on Altenbergstrasse is located on the southern edge of the Stuttgart city centre's basin, at the lowest point of a valley. Here lies the interface between the residential development immediately surrounding the city centre and a protected green belt that characterizes this elevated area of Stuttgart. Within this urban planning context, the new buildings were intended to complete the edge of the development and integrate the surrounding building structure in their massing and typological appearance.
