The Protestant community centre in Oberhaching is situated on the Kyberg hill in a prominent location between the town hall, church, and high school. This location prompted the architect to design the community centre with a sculptural quality, creating individual outdoor spaces in relation to the surrounding buildings. The ground floor and attic house the community rooms: a large hall with a gallery, a foyer with a fireplace and open kitchen, another community room, restrooms, and, under the roof, a room for group discussions, music, and other activities. The basement, which is fully illuminated by natural light due to the hillside location, contains the youth rooms. These have direct access from the schoolyard. The building serves the Protestant community but is also available for use by other groups.
