Hohenpeißenberg Television and Microwave Radio Relay Station
The building site is located on the approximately 1000-metre-high ridge of the Hohenpeißenberg mountain, which is visible from afar due to its exposed location. Its silhouette is dominated by the baroque pilgrimage church and the tower of the old weather station. All the necessary radio and television facilities were to be consolidated in the new station, which was only achieved for the facilities of the German Federal Post Office and the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation.
