The location of the savings bank branch in the town centre, the small-scale neighboring buildings, and the gently sloping terrain with its existing trees were decisive factors in shaping the design. The three floors—basement, ground floor, and upper floor—decrease in floor area towards the top, corresponding to their respective functions. This results in the unusual roof shape and the corresponding sloping glazing of the basement's social area, which, due to the slope of the terrain, rises half a story at the front.
