Branch Church in Stauf near Regensburg
The Regensburg district of Stauf, which has retained its village character to this day, was to gain a distinctive architectural centre with the construction of a new church. The location of the building site, on a street corner of Staufer Hauptstraße directly adjacent to the central green space with its mature trees, offered an ideal foundation for this. The public network of paths was expanded accordingly and extended to the cemetery in the southeast. Facing the village, the church entrance connects to the village via a landscaped forecourt.
