Leiderdorp Town Hall

The town hall was built in the pedestrian zone of the new Winkelhof shopping centre in Leiderdorp. A key criterion for its location and design was good accessibility from all sides. Three three-storey octagons are joined to form an L-shaped structure. The building's height, the small scale of its facade articulation with angled bay windows and relatively small window openings (for energy efficiency), and the traditional building material, brick, reflect the structure of the surrounding residential buildings.
