Town Hall in Reuver/Holland

The new town hall is located in the heart of Reuver, in a largely undeveloped corner of a street. It closes off the market square on the south side, which lies between the two streets and is slated to receive its final design once the main road is rerouted away from the town centre. The winning design, selected through a limited competition, is based on a program developed by the Association of Dutch Municipalities for municipal buildings. It defines the town hall as a "house of the community," open to citizens and other visitors, flexible in its spatial layout, and incorporating local building traditions in its materials and scale.
