Warehouse Construction with Administration and Vehicle Workshop in Cologne-Rodenkirchen
The building complex was erected on a corner plot of approximately 29,000 m² in the new industrial park of Rodenkirchen, a southern suburb of Cologne. The corner plot facilitates the separation of incoming goods (external vehicles) and outgoing goods (22 delivery trucks), thus ensuring optimal material flow through the warehouse. Thanks to the asymmetry of the plot, the administration building could be positioned facing the street. The cafeteria and connecting corridor face the landscaped buffer zone, while the vehicle workshop faces the depot.
