Picture Frame Factory in Boxtel/Netherlands
Key planning requirements included: the creation of attractive workspaces, flexibility with regard to structural changes, and a balance between investment and maintenance costs. The cubic building form was chosen to maximize floor space within the smallest possible building volume and minimize the proportion of exterior surface area (energy savings). The clear building height is 6 metres; an additional floor level was incorporated in the administrative area.
