Faculty of Arts in Dublin/Ireland
At the time of planning, the faculty had 4,500 students; an increase to 6,000 had to be taken into account. The building needed to accommodate language laboratories, seminar rooms and lecture halls, as well as an administrative area and an exhibition hall for the Dublin Languages and Social Sciences faculties. Due to the site conditions, a compact building was designed, featuring a largely closed facade facing south towards Nassau Street and terraced facades on the north side facing the park.
