BMW Administration Building in Dingolfing

The BMW plant in Dingolfing has been in operation since November 1973. Continuous increases in production, a growing workforce, new technologies, and modernization measures necessitated expansions in almost all areas, eventually including administration. The planning was based on a limited competition; two prizes were awarded, and the design by architects Benedek + Koch was selected. At the client's request, the administration building was intended to reflect the company's importance to the region, and the urban planning and architectural concept was to be correspondingly "significant."
