A building within a group of houses featuring everyday architecture. Even without nostalgia, neither postmodern nor ultramodern, nor even traditionally regionalist: it blends harmoniously into the row of existing houses as if it had always been there. Part of the property was left open as a public footpath extending from Schackstrasse to create a visual connection to Leopoldstrasse. This also created distance from the neighboring buildings. New to this group, and new to the streetscape, are the bay windows at both corners of the building, which also enhance the living space inside.
