Weiden Municipal Works Department
The building complex was constructed on open land in a suburban residential area. The surrounding, spacious single-family and two-family homes were taken into account in terms of scale and building massing, and accentuated by the striking mono-pitched roof forms. The predetermined access to the infrastructure, the route of the overhead power lines, and the road to the remaining plot of land dictated the location of the building complex.
