The "Wolfskuli Residential Group," built between 1972 and 1978, is situated in a park-like deciduous forest with a steep north-facing slope running along the longitudinal axis of the plots. The following factors had to be considered during the planning phase: the access road running to the south, the preservation of the old-growth forest, and the north-facing slope, which in some places reaches a depth of 6 metres. A primary planning objective was to integrate nature as much as possible into the design of the houses. Despite the individual character of each house, the overall design was intended to reflect a common architectural style. Materials and building elements had to be adapted to the low-light conditions of the forest setting.
