This detached house, divided into two residential units, stands on a 700 sq m meadow plot sloping steeply to the northeast above the village of Berghaupten. It comprises 209 sq m of living and usable space (186 sq m of pure living space) spread over two floors and an attic. The design was guided by the concept of "living under one roof" and the consistent use of wood as the primary building material. Accordingly, the structure was conceived as a single, large, space-defining, sloping roof, with its eaves running parallel to the hillside.
