Conversion of an Old Ticino House with Terrace and Pergola in Wooden Construction
A deep pergola was added to the old stone facade on the residential level, extending beyond the building and into the surrounding landscape. The pergola, towards which the old stone facade was extensively opened, is visually integrated into the interior. Significant interior renovations included: the installation of a bathroom, expansion of the existing bedrooms, creation of a central living and dining area with an adjoining open-plan kitchen and freestanding fireplace, and opening up the roof above the stairwell.
