As part of the second economic stimulus package, a former residential building from 1924 in Halle was converted into the headquarters of the Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation. For the architects Arnke Häntsch Mattmüller, the building is not only a space that provides a platform for 21st-century art in its diverse forms of working and presentation. The building itself, with its artistically inspired facade, reflects its function and represents a successful fusion of existing structure, new concept, and contemporary architecture.
