Steel structure: The steel structure, built over an irregular footprint, consists of roof trusses, paired longitudinal trusses, and fixed hollow section columns. Bracing is provided by horizontal bracing in the plane of the bottom chord and by vertical cross bracing. The transverse roof trusses, with a total width of 9 m and a total height of 3.50 m, are LJ 100 profile members (heat-bent at the joints). The top and bottom chords of the longitudinal trusses are also LJ 100 profiles; the haunches are formed with flat steel infill bars (F 20120) in a truss-like configuration. In the bays between the truss spans, 5 mm thick steel plates are welded between the chords. The longitudinal trusses have a span of 6.25 m between the column axes, a structural depth of 0.50 m, and a height of 1 m at the columns within the truss spans.
