Apartment Building on a Vacant Lot in Aachen
The building was to be integrated into a row of apartment buildings on the outskirts of town in the Burtscheid spa district, opposite the spa facilities with their mature trees, as well as the city library and the promenade. A design was chosen in which the building, with its staggered heights, forms a continuous connection between the adjoining buildings of varying heights. Its proportions and basic structure blend seamlessly into the streetscape. The 13 apartments range in size from 27 to 115 square metres. There are also 5 garages on the ground floor.
