Savings Bank Branch in Gumpoldskirchen
The building was to be integrated into a streetscape protected as a historical ensemble. It was developed in consultation with the heritage preservation office, which declared upon completion: "This solution blends very well into the streetscape in its proportions and materials, without resorting to the formal elements of older architecture. This building has no disruptive impact, but rather enhances the overall appearance of the townscape." The street-facing structure was aligned with the neighboring buildings in size and proportions. The (varying) roof pitches, eaves heights, and ridge heights were directly continued.
