Single-Family House near Landshut

The house stands on a sloping plot of land that descends to the northeast and is bordered to the west by a spruce forest. Single-family homes adjoin the property to the south and east; to the north and east, the landscape opens up. The imposing forest backdrop influenced both the floor plan and the architectural design of the house. To create a buffer zone between the house and the forest, as well as the neighboring houses situated higher to the south, the house was positioned as far as possible in the northeastern part of the plot. The building's structure and spatial organization: A pavilion-like arrangement of "table-like" reinforced concrete building sections allowed for a favorable grouping of the living areas and simplified integration into the hillside. The house is single-storey to the west and south, and two-storey to the north and largely to the east.
