Residential Area in Capelle a. D. Ijssel/Holland
This residential area, called "Oostgaarde," was included in the state-funded "Experimental Housing" program long ago. The original plan envisioned apartment buildings of varying heights, culminating in a 17-storey high-rise. Prompted by the wishes and suggestions of the local residents, a completely new alternative plan was developed and implemented. The 71,000 m² site is bordered by two roads and canals; it is located close to other residential areas that also include shopping facilities and community amenities.
