Along the siding for coal deliveries are the fully automated coal storage facility with the coal transfer station and the boiler house with its chimney. The coal storage facility and the boiler house are connected by the ash silo structure. Adjoining the boiler house to the west, via the control room, is a separate building, the so-called pump house, which houses the pump room, transformer stations, workshop, and other technical rooms. Also located here are the staff washrooms and break rooms, as well as an office. Apart from the concrete and glass, the entire facility is painted in a black-blue colour (RAL 5008).
