Single-Family House in Hamburg
The property is located on a quiet residential street in a suburb of Hamburg. Its narrow street frontage, unusual length, south-facing orientation, and the binding building regulations in place severely limited the design possibilities. Within these constraints, the following requirements of the client had to be met: views from the living room into both the southern and northern parts of the garden (away from the street); a separate children's area with its own entrance (to be used later as a self-contained apartment); and a design for the kitchen, dining room, and living room as a flowing sequence of spaces.
