The architectural design of the information centre is derived from the Lower Bavarian style of a crossing courtyard, featuring large roof surfaces and a central inner courtyard. The building adapts to the terrain (with its two rock formations). The five building sections, with their opposing sloping shed roofs (20° pitch), are largely closed off to the outside. Facing the inner courtyard, the large facades are partially clad in wood, with floor-to-ceiling glass panels beneath the ground floor arcades and individual windows on the upper floor.
