Kleine Moosschwaige, Dachau

The "Kleine Moosschwaige" is a listed building dating from 1802 with a varied history and several structural alterations and additions. Its condition before the renovation likely dates back to 1915, when the painter and lithographer Robert von Haug became the owner. For several decades, the "Kleine Moosschwaige" served as a home for Dachau artists. Today, the building contains five studios of varying sizes, which are rented to artists at affordable rates by the owner, the city of Dachau.
