Raiffeisenbank in Hammelburg

The bank's main hall was positioned in the corner of the building. To preserve the courtyard character, the existing rubble stone walls of the building form the outer walls of the hall, which are covered by three completely transparent, putty-free glazed gable roofs. Columns, corbels, gutter beams, and trapezoidal steel sheets form the load-bearing structure in the ceiling area of the gallery and terrace. A steel staircase leads to the gallery. The quartz porphyry paving of the market square continues into the shopping arcade and the main hall.
