As part of a complex community centre, including a church, chapel, parish office, social services centre, community hall, and rooms for senior citizens and youth, a kindergarten with four groups was also planned. During construction, the northernmost group was redesigned as a daycare centre. The urban planning context explains the integration of all parts into a single, large, simple structure. The lower northern end forms the transition to a residential area of single-family homes. The kindergarten is located within this area. A vestibule, illuminated by skylights, containing cloakrooms and washrooms, brings the experience of the outdoors inside. The rough texture of the exterior plaster continues here. Apart from the brick wall facing the street (for noise protection) and the wet rooms, the entire structure is made of wood.
